Weekly Meetings are at the heart of our program. They offer companionship for both adults and children, a chance to seek advice, share information, and catch up with each other. In addition, we have at least one special activity planned for the day - from a domestic arts project to a nature walk and anything in between. This is also a likely day for local field trips. As always, there will be farm chores to participate in! TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 9 AM Light refreshments are offered. Please let us know if you have a special dietary requirement and we will do our best to accommodate. $2.50 per person . Does not include other classes or workshops planned for Thursdays. Subscribe to the email list for planned weekly activities!
Classes are a series of sessions on a single subject, including year-long unit studies. These are mainly academic in nature, but also include some skill classes for both children and adults. All materials are included in the price of your class, with the exception of music lessons!
Workshops are one-day intensives that teach a particular skill (e.g. knitting), or provide valuable information about a topic (effective home management). All materials are included in the price of your workshop!
We are forming several interest clubs, including volunteer opportunities for children, teens and adults - as well as those for the entire family! Clubs are free to Members, Friends will be required to pay a nominal fee to participate.
We are so excited to be working with EF Tours and NAVIGO Magazine to create exclusive tours available only to NAVIGO readers and Renaissance Centre Members and Friends! Trips are specially designed for entire homeschooling families - each with a highly focused theme, but with enough time built in for families to fully explore and enjoy their trips. Evenings are especially unique - giving families the chance to form meaningful friendships we hope will last long after we return home.
Parties, Cultural and Seasonal Festivals, Speakers, Concerts, Plays and our own Annual Commencement add to the fun! **************** PLEASE NOTE: There are currently NO activities scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. However, any family - Catholic or otherwise - is very welcome to join our family every Friday evening at 6 PM for Family Rosary Night. |
